Islomania
The definition of an island is 'a thing regarded as resembling an island, especially in being isolated, detached, or surrounded in some way.’ Speaking about islands the idea is that they are often remote, isolating places. Islands are fast becoming one of the last places where community remains. Societies are largely becoming individualistic in nature, this series will explore an alternative. Looking at the social, cultural and anthropological issues around island life.
